It is made up of units and assets whose main mission is to execute military operations started at sea, as well as any other activity depending on its combat capability.
The Marine Corps is structured into the following elements:
- The Marine Corps Headquarters.
- The MC Brigade ‘Tercio de Armada’
- The Protection Force
- The Special Naval Warfare Force
