The History and Naval Culture Institute (IHCN) is in charge of advising the Chief of Staff of the Spanish Navy (AJEMA) on cultural aspects pertaining to the Navy as well as issues like protection, conservation, cataloguing, research and dissemination of the naval historical heritage.
