Welcoming address

The Center for Advanced Quartermaster Studies (CESIA in its Spanish initials) has been entrusted from the very beginning with the task of completing and enhancing the professional knowledge of officers of the Quartermaster Corps of the Spanish Navy as well as any other officers tasked with logistic or administrative jobs. The Center also gives classes and courses on subjects related to Public Expenditure, Logistics and Contracts.

Since 2011, the Center, in collaboration with the ‘Complutense’ University of Madrid, also organizes a Master’s Degree on Defense Logistics and Financial Management as part of the European Higher Education Area.

The Center has changed venue over the years in different Spanish Navy buildings. It is now located in the Spanish Navy facilities at Pio XII, in the north of Madrid.
