Naval Warfare College
Welcome to Naval Warfare College website. The College was founded by King Alfonso XIII on May 25th 1925 to house the naval warfare courses before the Higher Staff College of the Armed Forces was set up.
The Naval Warfare College is nowadays a School of Complementary Specialties with promotion courses for Lieutenant-Commander/Major; Commander/Lieutenant Colonel and for Master Chief Petty Officers.
Apart from this educational activity the College has a Naval Think Tank Center to promote, coordinate and develop research studies related to naval strategy.
In support of these activities, the College offers its library and historical archive to Navy departments or any agency concerned.
