The Naval Museum manages and coordinates a series branch museums: the naval museums of the Canary Islands, Cartagena (Murcia), Ferrol (Corunna), San Fernando (Cádiz), ‘Torre del Oro’ (Seville) and the General Archive-Museum ‘Álvaro de Bazán’ in Viso del Marqués (Ciudad Real). They are all state-run museums belonging to the Ministry of Defense.
