Naval Museum

The Canary Islands Naval Museum is located inside Las Palmas Arsenal and is devoted to the history of the Navy in the islands and exhibits other naval-related objects of interest.

The Canary Islands Maritime Area goes back to 1940 but it is in 1996 when objects, documents and memorabilia from ships and naval facilities begun to be collected to form the core of the Museum, which was finally opened to the public on March 7^th 2002.
