Spanish Navy Quartermaster Corps Officers are responsible for the planning and management of economic and financial resources carrying out their activities in areas like budgets, contracts, accountancy, payments and treasury, advising the Navy’s Chiefs and Command on these issues. They also play an important role in the planning and management of logistic-related matters like supply lines, transport and stocks management, among others. The Corps was set up by King Philip V at the beginning of the 18th century.
